sounds like a great trip with lots of exploring and fishing time.
the louse river is a very pretty trip! perhaps you could start at ep 50 and do the Frost River and then the Louse River, looping back to Little Sag, Tuscarora and exit at Round lake. all sorts of beauty and fishing on that loop.

We ate 2 eater sized walleyes for lunch one day and the laker for supper another day. Otherwise all other fish went back in for another day. We read about the bear issues on Polly after we got back out, we were there one night in the same time-frame but luckily saw none. Here's a picture of another new food we tried, fruit/berry crisp or streusel. We dehydrated strawberries, blueberries, rhubarb, and apples, rehydrated them and added sugar. Then mixed up butter, oats, and other things and put on top once the fruit mix was thickened. Great dessert we had twice since we had enough ingredients and took up very little space or weight.

Sounds like you made real good time. If you pushed on through to the single campsite on the noname lake between frond and boze, what is you estimate for adding to your first day?

The water levels in June were average I'd say for that time of year. We didn't need to use the portage entering the river from Malberg and didn't end up having any portages to Frond. Lower water would have had a few pull overs in narrow spots. I'd guess if you were paddling and not fishing like we were maybe another 1-2 hours.
