Looking for any recommendations for campgrounds on Sunday Lake. Will have a group of 6 kids with me, so will need a couple sites. Or any fishing spots I could take them.

I'm confused by your question. You say you need a couple sites, but you can only occupy one site for a group with one permit. Are you planning to basecamp? I'm not sure there's a permit that allows basecamping on Sunday Lake. They've revamped the Agnes permits so some allow basecamping on Basswood (but not Sunday), otherwise you have to travel through to Agnes, allowing only a stop on Sunday on the way in and/or out.

Fall lake has a good campground

There's a big site north side nearest Anchor Lake portage. Fish the bays for northerns and the deep west end for lake trout. My personal Moby Dick still roams those waters. Every time I pass through I troll that area..... where she lurks. She's still there I tell ya. Aye.

Good luck finding anchor lake portage from Sunday lake, we never did last year(May 2017). The bays on Sunday hold good northern and even good Largemouth bass.

They changed things some than,what does the permit actually say? Is Agnes still the designation? Also you must still be able to camp there as you move around? Unless they have changed much this year I never have had the Rangers say anything except asked or stated our Entry point?
What if your destination was per say Anchor?
