Very well done. Thanks for posting. Where was the very first picture in your report taken? I could paddle through an area like that all day long.

Not familiar with the area, but enjoyed your perspective on it and your trip.

I think it was one of the portages right before Knife. You can line your canoe through the shallow water or portage it. That's just landing but overall the area from Carp to Knife is pretty great.

Nice trip report, thanks for sharing. I was on Cherry a couple weeks after you, but I disagree with you. It's a crappy area and encourage everyone not go there. hehehe

Thanks everyone for your compliments! I am glad you didn't think it was too long or boring. :)

The camera used for all photos was my Fujifilm X100F, kept in a small dry bag in my day pack. Amazing camera. Most photos (landscapes) were shot around f/8 for maximum sharpness and large depth of field.

Yeah actually guys it turns out Cherry is pretty lame, don't think I'll ever go there again... waste of a trip... now ENSIGN!! There's a lake I can't wait to get back to again and again!! lol

Thanks for posting, made my wait at the dentist office way more tolerable! I love that area...first time I ever went was in that region.
