I happened upon an interesting find, and I'm wondering if anyone else knows any details.

It looks very similar to a Duluth Pack, but on the back it is stamped "Monarch Brand No. 3-20"

It looks like on the inner circle there is a logo, but I can't really make it out.

Either way, the pack itself is in OK shape. a few minor abrasions and holes. The leather straps are a little aged and cracked. Some corrosion on the rivets, but all in all a pretty cool find I thought. I'm guessing it has to be at least 50+ years old.

Not that I needed a canvas pack, but I couldn't pass up the deal (it was only $25).

Any info would be appreciated!

I believe it is an old Duluth pack. My dad has one of those, and Duluth Pack fixed the holes for free, but charged me for new straps.

Duluth Pack makes a Monarch #3.

Does it resemble this:

I have two of the 3-20 packs purchased it the 1970's. Both were repaired at Duluth Pack in 2017. Duluth Pack confirmed they made them.

Thanks.

Maybe I will bring it in for a tune-up
