I will be going on my 3rd trip into BWCA the first week of june this year at EP 32. I will be going with my sister who is a first timer but has some basic fishing experience. I myself am still somewhat of a beginner but I have all the basic gear, lures, etc (probably too many lures) . My first two trips (one in august, one in mid june) I had some success but I have mainly caught bass and a few northerns. I primarily use the TGO method (love it).
Was hoping to find some walleye this time. Anyone know how that area of the river is for walleye in early June? I plan to use TGO but am open to other suggestions. I've heard near rapids can be productive. We could also head down to Gabbro but we have just 3 nights so we will be base camping somewhere for sure.
