A group of friends and I are heading to Gunflint Lake and we didn't know if we need any extra permits if we stay on the US side of the lake. It's our first time fishing a border lake.
In a word: nope. You can paddle the Granite River all the way to Sag and you're virtually on the international boundary the entire way. You're all good.
