Thank you! Very nice. That is very similar to want I want to build. Let me apologize in advance if I start asking a million questions. :) How did you figure on where to set the seats as far as position and height?

Questions are good and I'm happy to try to answer them. I haven't found a hard and fast answer to seat placement. I did use a formula that calculated weight of the bow and stern paddler and distance from center but can't remember where I got the formula, the book Canoecraft possibly. Height was really trial and error, with my first attempt too high. With the high location you felt like you were on a tightrope, ready to flip off at any second. At the lower position, 6" it feels like I found the sweet spot. Paddle with comfort with a slightly lively hull.
