I told you that sunset was going to be awesome and my damn F'ing camera battery was dead. Glad you got the shot.

Great report, thanks for sharing. It seems lots of the sites on Agnes get trashed by people. I’m guessing it’s mostly day trippers that leave those messes. Shore lunch at a campsite, then they take off for home. That’s just a theory as I know Agnes gets lots of day use permit traffic. I’m glad you saw a DNR officer, I’ve heard of them hanging around Agnes before and keeping things honest in the area. Glad you had a good trip!

Nice report! Thank you for that.

I am headed that way on July 28th but stopping at Tiger Bay (hopefully)
It will be my son, my brother and I.

I'm really hoping it's not too crowded and if so maybe we will head into the islands of LLC and find a site away from the crowds.

My first trip idea was to camp half the trip on LLC and half on Iron but have changed it back to LLC just to simplify things.

Tiger Bay and the surrounding islands area of LLC are beautiful and almost all of the sites are great. Enjoy your trip!

Loved it!! Done several swimming episodes at your campsite on Iron and surprised deep down in Pete Bay was slow.

Great report! We did a similar trip a few years back with some first timers in late May. It snowed on us the first morning and ended in the 70s that week. We stayed 2 nights on the site closest to Curtain Falls, very cool area. Nice pictures too
