Conditions of two big portages in/out of Cache Lake?

I will be passing through Cache lake next week and am wondering if anyone has any recent report of the conditions of the 2 big portages in/out of Cache lake?

Jackfish was there not long ago. I read in some thread he posted that it was fairly dry at the time, and not to bad. The last time I traveled it was in a all day rain storm, and it was a bitch.

I must correct myself, Jackfish was on the Badwater portage, not Cache portage.

Thanks Walllee. I took the Badwater portage about 3 weeks ago and I would agree, it was probably the best it's been for me. Regardless of conditions, I'll be taking those Cache portages in a couple days!
