I've been trying to plan a trip into Woodland Caribou for next August and have called and written emails to Red Lake Outfitters several times over the last 3 weeks with no response. I'm greeted this morning to a video on youtube from Harlan (solotripper), who says he's sold the business.

Does anybody know anything about the new owners? I'm not getting any responses from the emails listed on the Red Lake Outfitters website, and nobody returned my phone call either.

Wow, that is news.

Recommend posting this on the WCPP forum.

Also recommend trying Albert at Goldseekers, the other outfitter up there. He's great.

is this the supply store in Red Lake that Harlan also owns?

Harlan doesn't own any operating business in Red Lake anymore, as far as I'm aware. He posted a youtube video about selling the business.

I've email Richard, the owner of Chokuni Outdoor Supply, and he said he purchased some outfitting equipment from Harland, but not the business itself. My understanding is Chokuni Outdoor Supply operates out of the location Red Lake Outfitters used to occupy. Richard also said they will be outfitting trips from this business going forward.
