Thinking of a trip this upcoming week (it looks as if the weather may clear up a bit) down the Isabella River to Bald Eagle. Anyone know what the water levels look like on the River? Is it something to even be concerned with?

Also, it looks as if an "out-and-back" are the only options here. Can anyone drop a contact for a shuttle service?

Thanks!

Lots of rain over the past few weeks, so water levels are up but it’s never really a concern. The first two rapids on the Island River(if that’s where you put in) can be easily navigated without portaging and maybe one other on the Isabella River. Piragis can shuttle you there or really any outfitter out of Ely.
