I just finished this for an Ohio Customer to use in their deer gun season.
I forged this blade from some "Old Ass" W2 and mated it up with some really nice Desert Ironwood Burl.
I'm not sure how to top this - but I'll have something soon!

Beautifully crafted! Out of curiosity, why W2?

This W2 is a phenomenal steel. It's a full 1 percent carbon and has a nice amount of vanadium which helps during post-forging grain refinement so the steel holds a very thin, fine edge that is VERY tough.

Thanks for the video, that explained it well. As a knife collector I like original, and this fits the bill!

That's a beauty.

Stupid question - how do you get your logo (name) on the steel? I'm assuming it's a stamp but maybe not?

It's etched with an electronic DC unit, stencils and electrolyte.
