Got some cabin time in with my wife and dogs after Christmas. I think I took more pics in a couple of days than I did all year.

Some people like B&W photo's, especially winter shots. Winter is bleak enough, I prefer to accent the color. Vivid blue skies on a cold crisp day when the sun is always low and provides nice reflective light. This is a favorite oxbow off the main channel of the Roseau River.

I wish that we had snow in northern Illinois. It is just damp and boring with heavy overcast.

After a long day outside in the winter wonderland, nothing better than a warm fire to kick back and relax. #winterglamping #cabintime

I think that shot, and that filter, are just stunning. How did you create it?

I have several Topaz plugins. I think this was a Topaz Adjust. I play around with the different presets and then tweak the knobs until I get something I like. I was trying to bring out the color of winter.
