Here's an item I designed a few months ago to help folks in the bush.
It's functions might include survival shelter, acquiring firewood, batonning materials for small fires and/or bio-fuel stoves like the solo stoves, etc.
These are Parkerized for ease of maintenance and I'm making these with Desert Ironwood scales:
