14 days mid june. I use a boat. Basswood when I can or Ely area lakes.
This year I'm planning on experimenting a little south with Dumbell Crescent and Silver Island to name a few.
I have a opportunity to stay at someone's house in ely and I might just quit my 1 day a week at the golf course. Stay up there for a couple months.. I'm not getting any younger ya know.

Looks like it will be nine or ten over two trips.

Caught my first musky in dumbbell and did well on walleye. Hopefully a week next fall.

7 days for the trip we are planning but the first and last days are less likely to be spent fishing. The first because we are bringing steak dinner for night one and dealing with the rods while portaging sucks. The last because we would be bringing those fish home and I mainly fish for dinner.

Trying to schedule out the summer with my wife. Hoping to do a 5 day in June and another in September. Would like to do one on Gunflint side and the other Ely. All TBD for now. Unfortunately no Quetico for me this summer but going to Lac Seul in July!

Where are you staying @ Lac Seul? How many days?

I almost never fish the first day on my Quetico trips, we spend the whole day getting to the top of Agnes or further. The last day is always spent paddling back to the border, never fish on the last day.

At this point I only have a quick 4 day trip to Insula planned. The last few times I was there the walleyes cooperated, hoping for the same this June.

Minimum of 3 trips a year. That being said I need to figure out when I am bringing the kids this time. Normal time is taken. 3 trips are probably late May, early August, Early October.

Ha! I was all sad and mopey about "empty nest" last summer. Turns out I loved solo'ing.
Ironically, the juvenile eagles came back to the nest for awhile, and I have no lengthy solos planned (yet!) but at least three weeks of paddling trips planned between the two sons!

4 for lakers in May, 9 for everything in June, and 4 for anything that'll bite in September. The Sept trip isn't specifically for fishing and the June trip is for sightseeing and fishing (equal importance), but the May trip is 100% a cold blooded laker hunt. Hoping for a 30 incher, dreaming of a 40.

The plan was to stay at Anderson's Lodge between Little Vermilion and Abram lakes. Unfortunately this weekend I got some bad news and we won't be going this year...looking forward to July 6-10, 2021 now I guess. It might, however, open up more possibilities for an additionaly BWCA trip this summer.

Do most of you fish every day? I don't fish too often on the first day due to trying to get as far as possible the first day and the last day we always just head for the border to get a tow back early.

This year has 7days and 6 nights on the book in mid May. Get to introduce a newbie to the northwoods for my paddling companion for my first BWCA trip. Always gone to the "Q" prior.

5-6 days in May for a hiking/canoeing hybrid trip with my wife. Then 5 days in June with my dad and my two oldest kids, then 3 days in July with my wife and all three kids. Then a week long solo in September doing the border Route/voyageurs Highway.

Same thing that I was thinking. We have five days planned in mid-August on Clearwater/Caribou. The 8yo and 6yo will be hunting for smallies.
Hoping for a bonus October trip, but that isn’t booked yet.

Once we set up camp, we usually fish. On the water, or if the weather doesn't cooperate, from the shore. I think my grandson would rather fish than eat sometimes.

Not written in stone yet, no permit reserved, I'm able to be flexible on my dates and when I finally decide it will be 14 days in the Q. Going back to an area I know very well, and I'll add some new lakes.
