After a long search, I am moving to Brainerd, Minnesota where I have been hired to work at one of the law firms in town. I am super excited about this move and can't wait to live up north.

Yes, cool area. I always drool about fishing the Miss river in that area when we cross it headed to the cabin near Leech.

Envy you, I have missed the area since my in laws passed away and we had to sell the cabin on lake Hubert. It was a long drive from Michigan but still made several times every year. Good luck

I've told my grandma to get Great Grandpa Johnson's ice fishing stuff out. He used to go out on Mille Lacs all the time when he was living. Now the family tradition can continue - after I figure out the regs lol!

Man February is a great time to move - lol. I have my U-Haul loaded up for the drive up north tomorrow with my helper. Once I get settled into my job maybe we do a Brainerd Lakes Area wing night.

So my future son-in-law from Sauk Rapids comes to visit and we tell him we're having casserole. He looks at it and says that looks just like a hot dish!
