May 13 - The Canada Border Services Agency is temporarily suspending certain small vessel reporting sites, small airports of entry, ferry terminals and remote area border crossings.
It’s due to COVID-19 related measures that go in to effect as of midnight Tuesday.
The Remote Border Crossing Program is only available in parts of northwestern Ontario including from Pigeon River through to and including Lake of the Woods, and the Canadian shore of Lake Superior, among other areas.
Permit holders cannot use their RABC permit to enter Canada until current Canadian travel restrictions are lifted.
