Hello All.
Planning a trip to Daniels Lake, mid July. Four kids under 13. Some like to fish, others do not. Any advice on what camp site (N or S side of lake) to shoot for if I want to be close to best fishing opportunity? Also, best species to shoot for, set up you would recommend? I appreciate your time and thought.

Lake trout is just about it, I don't know and hope not if smallmouth bass invaded the lake yet?

According to the survey, "Smallmouth Bass were first found in this lake in 1979, and have since provided some good summer fishing, producing fair numbers of larger fish."

Some burbot are in there as well.
