I call this knife "Echo Trail".
I know I always like them each just a little bit - but this one exceeded my expectations.
I forged the blade from a 1 1/8" round bar of W1 tool steel and hardened it to achieve the distinctive "hamon" that exposes differential hardening by highlighting the hard and soft areas. Each one is uniquely different.
I'm also really enjoying "frosting" my hardware by blasting it with well used coal slag and then hot-bluing it.
The handle material is some stabilized Hawaiian Koa.
