brp: "Just a genuine question/observation.....
I’ve got a late August trip coming with 6 college friends. We are all going to get tested before the trip, you have to take a test and get a negative in order to go.
We are requiring a test to go and you are canceling a trip because of a test.
What if he’s negative?! "
He got the test yesterday and was told its a 72 hour turn around time before he'll get his results. That means we won't know until Friday if he's negative. Our entry date is also Friday and we would be driving up Thursday.
Right now all we know is that he had a low grade fever at his daily work screening which requires him to get a test before returning to work. So even if he doesnt have covid something was causing the fever. Since we won't have test results back before our entry the only option is to be cautious and assume he has covid and cancel the trip.
