LOL. What is true for one is not so for the other. This "rule" really applies to those who lack the self discipline to imbibe on a cocktail before the chores are done :) And therefore never get camp squared away.

I do have the urge after a long day of paddling to first pull out my Helinox and take a bump while giving my back a reprieve. This is also gives me an opportunity to decipher how camp will be setup. Assuming bad weather is not on my doorstep...
