This might be a dumb question, but does Little Sag have smallies? The DNR website only lists pike and trout.

What about the other lakes around it? There's nothing but trout and pike listed from surveys. I do love my lake trout fishing, but we'll be heading in somewhere around mid-June, and that time of year sure is fun chasing brown bass, too.

I've only been once so....with that...we didn't get into the bass and such until Ogish when heading thru Tuscarora Little Sag etc.

Doesn't mean they're not in there but it got better for us the farther in we went

According to MN DNR , there are no smallies (or walleyes) in Little Sag.

They report better than average Northern fishing (I can attest to this) but below average Lake Trout fishing.
