Awhile back I posted about these hand rails. Our local chapter of infisherman raised money for these and installed them on public docks. They called them handicap rails but I think the general public would benefit also.
As you can see not much money to have these made.
So my question is, who could I contact to see about having something like this installed on Minnesota ramps?
The poles they currently use to hold the dock in place are large diameter.
Hard to grip even with my big hands.

And let us know what you hear. My dad's had both his knees replaced, bad back, just doesn't bend the way he used to. We really have to pick and choose our launch spots when he's along. Sometimes we have to steady the boat next to the dock and he literally has to just sit down on the dock, swing his legs over the gunnels and crawl into the boat. Getting back outta the boat and onto the dock is a whole different rodeo.

Thank you. These make it easier to get in and out of the boat for me. Took a dip at the moose lake landing last August.. Didn't get hurt just embarrassed. A buddy from infisherman is getting me the details on cost so I can pass the along also...

You would be surprised how much it would cost the government to do something like that!
Maybe they could just put in 1 or 2 on certain docks to reduce costs.

I do know how government works. I retired from state of Illinois. They spent $18,000 on a electronic score board so the inmates could keep track of the score of their softball games....
I told the warden. Give me a sheet of plywood and 20 bucks and I could build a scoreboard...
