We fish Disappointment most years. Walleye are generally pretty easy to find all over the lake. That time of year they will probably be moving towards the middle of the lake. We always go the second week of June and they are still relatively shallow (dark muddy bottoms) and in areas with a little bit of current (between islands, wind, etc). Leeches and slip bobbers always do well for us. We also catch them dragging husky jerks off the first main break in the lake.

Smallmouth and Pike are also easy catches on Disappointment.

I answered your other post as well.

Smallies will be relating towards structure near the edges. Casting the shoreline with a crank, spinner bait or swimming a twister tail back usually work. Top water in the AM or PM if the water calms down. Bigger baits probably similar technique for northerns. That lake has Largemouth too so weedbed edges for them if you find some weeds that early.

Walleyes the previous poster gave great info. I’d drift and vertical jig those spots un til ya find them. Then either keep doing that or slip bobber the area.
