Reached a high of 72 today. After taking advantage of the weather and getting some work done... sitting by the fire at sunset, I smacked that son of a. Big, too. Dully noted in weather journal.

Am I alone?

I smacked one tonight too. Located in NW metro, I was surprised, thought we were in the clear for a couple more weeks yet.

Wife swatted one after dinner tonight. Northern suburbs of Minneapolis. Surprised the heck out of me. I think the dog will be getting her first dose of tick/flea meds tomorrow.

Well, taking my daughter and friend into BWCA on May 23...their first ever trip. Wasn't planning to bring my bugnet, but might need to now....frown....

Then again, maybe they'll hatch and then get frozen with some hard frosts in May.... ??

They were buzzing around my head in Duluth last night.
