Hi, I'm going to be going on my first trip to the boundary waters with some friends this summer and I wanted to ask if there is available parking at the entry points and if they charge. We'll be going to Lake Isabella, EP 35

The only places that charge are businesses near an EP or something...if you're not buying services from them already. But yes, every EP has at least a small parking area itself that's not manned or anything.

Isabella has a free parking area that you could see from space. :-). Plus a well-maintained outhouse. Enjoy your trip!

That is a popular EP. It is a big lake too and there are currently six closed campsites (according to the current maps on this site). If you can't find an unoccupied campsite be prepared to move on. If you don't already know this - you may only camp in campsites that are "Open" and that have a USFS fire grate and a latrine.
