Is a negative COVID test required for re-entry back into the United States? I was listening to a news program today and they said you would if on Canada more than three days.
The CDC has a mandate for air travelers to have a negative test within 3 days of return to US from a foreign country. On the FAQ, they specifically state that the mandate does NOT apply to land border crossings.
So, at this time, it appears you do not need a negative test to re-enter the US after a trip to Canada if travelling by land.
