Tomorrow is a snow day in cook county! Blizzard conditions through the night.

A balmy -9 in Detroit Lakes now, guessing we got about 7 inches of snow.

Can you guys see this video? We had so much fun in the snow. I built a tarp tent to practice for winter camping (and, really just to have a backyard fort, right?).

Great video. My son’s dog loves to get on his back and slide all over.

Let's hope it continues. The lake levels have been way to low lately. I wish we could share some of our rain. We just got back to Houston from Albuquerque and it is a big shock going some place with so little water. The holiday light show at the Biopark is awesome if anyone is in that area.

If the cards line up I will be down there for 6-8 weeks starting in about a month,
I'm hoping to keep Ben in line for at least a week.
Sounds like there is a shortage in 1lb propane canisters down there, as well as Freds bacon. I think Ben wants me to be his pusher man for these products.
He may not be to happy when he gets the bill.

Thing are looking good in northern Minnesota. In East Grand Forks we have had another blizzard and have gotten a few more inches of snow. It looks like the same is happening in NE Minnesota.
