My wife was going through one of our kid's old school stuff and came across this piece of homework (see pic). If I had to guess he wrote this around the age of 10 for a school assignment. Probably just after we were in BWCA/Q the Spring of 2010 (via a tow from Crane Lake to Bottle). He's 21 years old now.

That's a riot! My son's BWCA experiences saved him on a couple writing assignments. Makes for great story fodder.

He's quite the story teller. Love it, especially "You go, fish, eat, talk and that's it".

I'm also glad to hear you're "more cooperative".

My sons, nephews and now grand kids have all used their BW experiences to write papers or do projects for school. A great indicator to the impact and importance that such a wonderful piece of God's creation has on all who get the privilege to spend time here.

Those were my first thoughts too! Great writing.
