Has anyone been watching The Chosen?

It's a completely free app (although they encourage donations) that, in my opinion, has been doing a really good job reenacting the Gospels. They've got 2 seasons completed and, are planning on doing 7.

While I can't say I always agree, I do find it interesting how they fill in some of the speculative portions of the story. It gives one a different perspective to ponder these stories; which is always a good thing.

Not to start a disagreement, just a heads up that The Chosen is made in calibration with the Mormons.

I think it is widely understood that they consult several different Christian & Jewish sources, and don't hire people based on their religious (or lack thereof) affiliations. Point being: just because there are people working on the project that fall into other belief categories, doesn't mean that they're trying to produce an inauthentic storyline. It should go without saying that there is a lot of "ad-libbing" (they come right out and say that). And it is not meant to replace Scriptures but can be used as a vehicle to enhance our understanding of it - and i think it has done a good job in that regard.
