Ok, maybe a stupid question but can you take an iPhone 8Plus and use it with the GPX maps with campsites and portages marked? Please keep in mind I can barely turn my phone on and use it.

If it were me I would download the KMZ file from the site that can’t be mentioned on this site and use Google Earth. That’s what I’ve done (on my iPhone). Alternatively you can download the GPX files on that same site and use them with the Gaia GPS app on your iPhone.

I use the Gaia GPS app on my Samsung S8 along with the downloaded campsites and portages from this site (found in the GPS forum). Works great and would think
it would also work on your iPhone. Also just added the Garmin Explore app and used the same downloads for campsites/portages and works just fine. I like the look of the Garmin display.

Thanks for all the advice. I downloaded the Gaia app and then the files from the unmentionable site. Seems to work perfect. Just hope I don't need it this year.
