I just did a work up of our menu for September. We use Camp Chow. It went up from $6 per 2 servings on many items to $10. And Camp Chow is still the least expensive of 15 brands I looked at including Mountain House. I looked at the "gourmet" brands. They were up to twice the price per serving as Camp Chow. Probably time to start working the food up myself and dehydrating it.

Nice to support a small business. Likely nice quality as well. And a dollar isn't what it used to be. But, I hear you.

We all love the taste and portion size of Camp Chow, and we eat at Trail Center Lodge every year on our trips. We will continue using them because they still have the largest portion size, and lowest cost per person of the options out there.

You must not do any grocery shopping at home, ockycamper . . . ;)
