Much as I'd like the boat to go to someone with a technical background, I have no plans to go to your area anytime soon. I might be going to the Spring Green, WI area within the next month or so.

Sorry my email address was hidden. If the boat is still available August 1st we can set up a meeting in Spring Green. I'd rather avoid traveling with my canoe truck if I can.

PVnRT: "Thanks for letting me know. The Magic would have been wonderful, but I'm actually hoping to find a used Phoenix in IXP or Blackgold Wildfire so that I can add river tripping to my hobbies."
Well good luck in your search. I like the thicker clear gel coat on the older Bells since they can take a ton of abrasion and normal bumping around. I remember Bell ads saying Black/Gold was fine for mild whitewater but I sure agree that there's an appeal to a bulletproof boat like an IXP Phoenix. In my experience the Wildfire is the more playful/fun boat while the Phoenix feels bigger and safer. Cheers
