Is there a way to clean the inside of a sleeping pad? Over time an unpleasant smell emerges when deflating. Don’t notice any off smells other than that. I was thinking of putting some vinegar inside. Ultimately tossing it and getting a new one is an option just trying to make it last longer. Thanks for suggestions.
No idea on your problem. I know vinegar works on tents and rain flys but after you soak with vinegar you need to wash it off. How would you do that with the inside of a pad? But like Blatz said if you inflate with your mouth, you are putting moisture in there too. That breads all kinds of nasties. Best get a Exped 7 or 9 and a Snozzle inflation bag. The Snozzle really works fast for inflating pads.
