Hey all - I did some digging around and it looks like it's pretty tough to snag an overnight motor for Fall Lake EP into Basswood.

Hoping to go as a group of 2-3 mid-May right after the opener. I saw that the lottery system is no longer in use, but does anyone have any tips for me to increase my chances of snagging a permit - (like trying to go in on a "less" popular day like Tuesday potentially?) We plan to get on and try to reserve ASAP when the reservations open.

We paddled into Fall last year, but with how high the water was, we had some pretty sketchy experiences with other motored boats not giving us enough space in tight passes and we want to avoid any of that for this year.
