We're back in Quetico - apologies...I just travel more in the north-of-the-border paddling destinations than in the BW.

Two shots of this lake to start, the first looking a hair west of due north:

The second shot has us looking ESE.

Both are taken from the water, not from land.

Evening from camp, looking NNW. There are three portages leading to/from this lake.

A couple campsite photos - Cerberus is sleeping on, not in, her pup tent. It was hot...

Cerberus & I were camped on the mainland, but there are three islands on this lake with campsites.

I should know this shouldn’t I SNS.
I’d have to pull out the maps.

Tom is DQ'd from guessing.

At the moment this photo was taken, he is camped on the island in the distance that the hammock points to, enjoying a scotch.

On the other hand, if you had enough scotch, perhaps this is all new to you.

:-)

A few more campsite photos are below.

If you want to exit Quetico Park from this lake, one portage plus a paddle will get you to an entry point. Interestingly, two other EPs are closer than that exit, but they require a second portage, and for one of those, also a little more paddling outside the park proper.

That's funny. I thought that was it lol.

Let's review old intel:
Three Portages in/out
Three Islands with Campsites
Lake to EP with one portage + paddle
Lake to second EP one portage + paddle + portage
Lake to third EP one portage + paddle + portage + paddle outside park
Tom is camped on one of the three islands enjoying scotch

New clues/intel:
1) Photos are from last July, so not in a burn area
2) Smaller lake
3) This lake has one of the highest campsite-to-surface area ratios in the park. Many lakes this small have 0-2 campsites, while this has more than a handful.
4) Tom's canoe is Red

We have a winner!

I knew that clue about Tom's canoe color was too revealing.
