Here are some pictures from my early June Quetico trip. I like beautiful pictures especially when there are fish involved. You might like checking them out. I used a Nikon DSLR with an 18 mm lens. It allows me to hold the fish in one hand and the camera in the other hand and not miss the fish. If you look in the eye of some of the fish you can see the reflection of my arm holding the camera. We mostly fished fly rods for bass but we did jig for walleye a little and troll for lakers. I like the laker trolling. They pull hard but are difficult to photograph so no pictures of them.

Gorgeous. I have written for Gray's Sporting Journal, which makes space for sporting art in all media, from oils to watercolors to photography, as well as poetry and pretty prose. Your photos remind me of the photos that Gray's publishes.
I will paddle eternal, Kevlar and carbon.

Molly - I appreciate that. I spend some time working on them. I have a great deal of respect for writers. I have listened to many podcasts where they interview an outdoor writer. Seems like there is a lot of rejection and hard work on the path to success. Good on you for having success.
