I went from Frost Lake to Mesaba Lake on the 19th. The water level was fine, we didn't have to drag our canoes except at dam pullovers. The recent rain has probably raised it a bit beyond what we had.

Just wondering if there are any updates on the Frost River Levels. Planning on entering the BWCA next Thursday July 13.

Ya!...Good to "hear" from you. Had a good chat with Bonnie.
Back to topic. We bailed on Frost River route and went straight to Tuscarora. With 2 newbies I could see making it to Frost for 1st night wasn't going to happen. I didn't want to push people too hard. Also, the day we were going to do the Frost river was hot and sticky and between that and the bugs im kinda glad we just made the easier trip from Tuscarora to Lil Sag. So....no report on Frost river.

Okay, who’s the first to do the Frost River this year? Any report on the levels?
