I know it's actually Crane Lake you put in on. Where on the lake is the public launch and parking?

Right in the tiny town of Crane Lake which is at the end of the road up from Orr.

The public boat launch location is on my map labeled "Voyageurs Challenge Start". It is a small area and doesn't really have much for parking space. I've been dropped off there multiple times but never had to leave a vehicle behind. I'm not sure if overnight parking or long term parking is allowed?

I see across the street is the Crane Lake Ranger Station...maybe track down their phone number and check with them on the parking situation.

You should go to the landing by Handbergs Marine. The one in downtown has very little parking and is owned by a private party. Someone left a note on our car saying we owed something like 20$. No biggie but we didn’t have cash. Wrote on the stub that we’d gladly pay if they sent an invoice and we never heard from them.
