What is your favorite inflatable pillow and why?

I am a side sleeper and prefer inflatable pillows. Inflatable pillows meet my personal requirements for price, weight, bulk, convenience and comfort. I consider the durability, valve, fabric, shape and dimensions. Pillow depth has been my biggest issue, most Inflatable pillows have a maximum depth of 4 inches and I prefer more. Until recently I would place an article of clothing under my pillow in order to increase the depth.

I replaced this Trekology pillow with this Trekology pillow . The replacement is slightly heavier and bulkier than the other model but it has the same excellent valve, a more comfortable shape, a more comfortable fabric and has a 5 inch depth. I place the 5 inch portion of the pillow under my neck facing my torso with the 4 inch portion facing away. I find that having my head positioned over the taller 5 inch portion is the most comfortable and it helps hold the pillow in place.

I use an Exped - probably 10 years old. Works with their schnozzle and either my dlx9 or their lightweight pad - forget model name.

Tried out the Nemo Fillo pillow for the first time this year and I loved it. Extremely comfortable. It's combination inflatable and foam so it doesn't pack down quite as small as pure inflatable, but the extra space it takes up (not much) is well worth it to me.

2nd the Nemo Filo. I've tried a bunch and it's the best so far. Put it on top of some clothes or whatnot for extra height. The foam is just sooo much better than an air membrane alone.

+3 on the Nemo Fillo, same reasons. Plus IF it should get a leak, you can still fill the cover with a fleece or something like that. I had the Big Agnes Rapide SL pillow and while it was ultra packable and comfortable, I went through two of them (warranty) before I gave up on them developing leaks in the center at the weld seams - which was NOT from overpressuring.

Original Trekology developed a slow seam leak, lasted about 5 years. Jumped to a Nemo Filo Elite but felt it wasn't as thick as the Trekology and felt like my neck head was always bending downward, especially if on my side. Nice pillow overall though.

Now I'll be trying a pillow similar to the one you upgraded to, just a different brand. Thickness was the main priority here. Have yet to try it yet however.

Based on the recommendations here, I bought a Nemo Fillo Pillow.
It's not going to work for me. It is significantly smaller than the advertised 11x17 inches. Mine was 9.5 x 15.5 in the sleepable portion. I also didn't like the crinkly sound the fabric on the back of the pillow made. After trying different inflation levels, I decided it wasn't worth $44 to me.
Mine is going back and I will continue to use the My Pillow Go-Anywhere Pillow.
I prefer the comfort level for 1/2 the price.

I've had a few now and this is my favorite by far. Little big, but a those canoe packs are pert near bottomless anyway ;)
