Greetings,
I am in the research phase of trip planning and want to do the Man Chain and beyond. I would plan my first layover day somewhere on the Man Chain lakes. My focus for the day would be fishing (walleye/pike) with lakeshore exploration as a close second.

So.... for those of you who have been there and fished those lakes, which lake would you prefer to do a layover day on? That Man? This Man? Other Man?

OT, I can highly recommend the island site in the middle of Other Man as outstanding -- one of our favorite sites ever -- a great place to stay multiple nights.

As for fishing, we were catching them all over Quetico so I cannot say one lake in the Man chain was better than another for our purposes, which were mostly to catch a couple for dinner.
