No idea if this will work but I would take advantage of the drier interior air this winter and inflate the mattress let it stand upright for a day or two to help any moisture drain towards the biggest valve it has. Repeating this a few times at least. Hopefully between the dry air absorbing some of the moisture and some coming out when deflating it will get most of the moisture out. Good luck

Absolutely! I need to create these issues for some other gear as well. I need a ready list of reasons to explain to my wife why I'm "putzing with canoe gear again"!

Don't stress about a little condensation while using the pad. REI's advice on hanging pads in a closet or laid-out under the bed with valves open is solid. Storing pads compressed long-term isn't good for insulation (just like sleeping bags and jackets).
