Hello my Quetico friends. The following Preview / Trailer Video is from my 13 Day Solo Quetico Trip this Summer. I wanted to share it for this Holiday Season when many of us are currently planning our Quetico Adventures for next year. It showcases some of the highlights of the trip videos that are coming soon on the "MyWaterzMyWoodz" YouTube Channel.

Nice video! Heading further north on a big trip next year but thinking I might try for a May trip in Quetico. Trying to see if I can make it work with my schedule and my son’s school schedule! Need to get back into Quetico though!

Indeed. Almost 1,000 video clips to sort through and 250 editing hours. But it was all worth it! The whole trip turned out magnificently! It's a great watch. Lots of hidden gems throughout.

I haven't watched it yet, so wondering how the sail worked out for you? Always thought from your previous videos that it was cool you still are using an aluminum canoe as well.

The sail worked out well and saved some paddling in addition to adding some fun to the trip. As a solo paddler, I would highly consider bringing on your trip if you are crossing big waters. The sailing footage can be seen in the video at the 54 minute mark. I like aluminum canoes because they are durable and the keel saves wear on the hull of the canoe. The keel also helps the canoe track well without getting blown sideways by the wind.
