This is the most jealous I have ever been after reading a trip report, but we are headed to that same area this summer the same time you were there and I’ll be excited to catch even 1/4 of the fish you did. Thanks for the enjoyable read!

Great report with a good bunch of guys!
Your northern lights pictures were great. What a trip highlight. Loved seeing those slab bluegills.
Share your biscuits and gravy recipe and method. That sounds like a hearty breakfast!

Great fishing report. I'd heard that the fishing on that part of LLC was great but all your detail really hammered it home. I've been debating between 2 trips for next year and I think this report just solidified my plans!

Great report Bryan! Love the pics and the daily write-ups. I felt like I was on this trip with you. Hopefully we'll be able to do that some day!
Our crew will be going in a week later this year so instead of the first week in June it will be the second week in June because of the way the school calendar plays out. Your pics and fishing intel give me a lot of hope for the second week of June!
Those northern lights pics were amazing!
Blessings,
Dan

I can relate to your comment about the Hamm's hitting the spot. The first trip I ever organized we used the same outfitter. We didn't know anything about them at the time. The last two days of the trip one guy kept talking about how much he was craving an orange soda. We had the outfitter pick us up upon exit. To our complete surprise, the young guy driving had a cooler full of beer and, you guessed it, orange soda. We couldn't believe it and were screaming in excitement. The satisfaction on my friends face as he enjoyed that surprise orange soda is something I will remember for ever.

Nice report and some awesome pics.
I caught my PB crappie on Agnes. 14"
We fished LLC around Tiger Bay and NeverFail Bay and did really well and that wa sin August. My dad caught a 40" pike in Boulder Bay and he caught a 28" walleye right next to the island campsite t the top of Boulder Bay west of Tiger Bay.
I would love to go back but LLC is windy as heck and like you said Moose River is, frankly, a PITA. We did it with a 3 man 20' canoe. We wanted to get up to Lady Boot bay area but it was just too windy.
I've been fishing Crooked Lake last few years and really beating up the fish from Wednesday to Friday Bay. That area is bomb!

It is a wonderful breakfast, a nice change from the oatmeal and pancake normal breakfasts. We do not pack eggs or anything fresh in yet. I will post the recipe in the coming days. :)

YetiJedi: "That's a lot of fish! Very impressive! Looks like you guys had a great time too. I've ever seen a moth like the one in the pic. Beautiful northern lights. Thanks for sharing!"
It was a fun trip for sure. Probably cracked my top 3 favorite ones of all time. It was a great trip with friends and my brother. That was the first time I ever saw a Luna Moth up there and the first time seeing the Northern lights too.

That is a great memory for sure. It was a nice little perk from Voyagers North that hit the spot for our crew at the end of the trip.

I didn't read the trip report.
But I did see a topwater comment.
That is all my brother and I do. 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening. We usually get back to camp around 930pm.
Secret lure "Rebel teeny pop-r " cast it behind every rock and in every pocket. The bass are spawning right next to shore. And work it slow. Let it sit. Did I say work it slow?
Did you pick up any canoes from the outfitters last fall? They start selling hem in late August. Some places you could put a down payment down now.
Even a beat up canoe will last you an easy 20 years if you treat it right.
Any idea what canoes you are looking for.
Some where on this site you can send a group email to every outfitter in the state and ask them about used canoes and gear

Have camped on those spots a few times but never caught fish like you guys did. Tiger Bay is one of my favorite places. Always nice when a trip turns out well and even better when you bring back such great pictures. Thanks much.
