Just curious why today all of the front page "name that lake" posts were marked as off-topic? First time this has been the case all winter long and those on the next page did not receive that treatment. Did something change that we should all know about?

I agree. Page 2, 3, 4... deserve equal treatment. This cannot stand!

I’ve never paid much attention like as far as previous years. Maybe it’s getting those that can’t scroll type people getting their panties in a bunch. I believe the main purpose of off topic is that those who choose to can op out of seeing off topic threads and won’t have to resort to scrolling past and heaven forbid they open it and see a bwca picture. Personally it’s been a thing years wise that I don’t see why otherwise it was placed as such as trying to recognize a bwca or quetico lake seems pretty topic like to me… So I’m guessing as I said you just have the bunched panty folks getting offended…

At ease, Naturboy. :) Public speculation will get you nowhere. Checking on this now, but it might take a day or so. You are correct though… this group is well behaved. :)

You can blame me. It makes sense to clean things up a bit by marking it off topic after it is won. When we have more time, we will change it up to support it better.
