If you're another paddler who feels that Nabisco/Mondelez let us down by dropping Stoned Wheat Thins crackers (labeled as Christie in Canada or Red Oval Farms in the US) in 2022, there's a good replacement if you have a Whole Foods nearby. It's saltier, but otherwise is about the same, so it tastes great, travels well, etc. It's Whole Foods house brand, 365, and called Cracked Wheat Crackers.

We were lucky enough last year to have friends who brought us a couple boxes of the originals back from Canada, but our search this year was limited to paying $15/box on Ebay, which I'm too cheap to do. I ran across this on the web, and taste-tested a box yesterday--it's a winner!

Thank you for the intel - SWTs are a household staple here!

I’ve brought SWT’s on many canoe trips and did not realize they were gone. I have found Whole Foods cracker section to be top notch (that sounds strange but I stand by it), and will look for their SWT substitute next time I’m there.
