The parking lot between Picket and Mudro lake, is it a private or public parking lot? This site say it is private, but the ranger station in Ely says it is public. If it is public, how do you pay?

There is a free public parking lot at the EP now. There used to be a saloon there many years ago and it was private.

Used to be Chainsaw Sisters Saloon. The building is long gone and USFS bought the land many years ago. Free parking.
