EP14 Pauness to Shell Portage update

Hi there
Heading out EP14 next week with 5 kids. Wanted to see if anyone has been across the portage from Pauness to Shell? Wanted to check on the status of the beaver dam on the portage. I know it was washed out in 2022, but not sure the current status.

The beaver dam has been rebuilt. There's enough water to load your canoe and paddle across the pond.

Wow....busy beavers. Went by that just after it washed out. That was a serious blow-out. Figured they'd get that done, but what a job!

Hi - I hope you had a great trip!

We are heading to this portage in 2 weeks. How was it? Anything we need to be prepared for?
