Looks like I waited a little too long to buy a Purcell Trench Voyageur grill. They went out of business.

Yup, me too. Darn, really should have pulled the trigger last year.

I googled "Purcell Trench Grill" and found a couple places with them still in stock.

Yea still stock them, but at twice the price (triple what I paid years ago).

Glad Maverick talked me into one a long time ago!

Damn. You were right and I bit the bullet from Canadian Outdoor Equipment and bought the Voyageurs Streamside version with the perforated grate on top. Not my first choice but I got it done. Thanks for the heads up.

I wonder if anyone will take over in their place to provide these quality grills that we all love?

I would doubt anyone will take over. Often these small businesses are a labor of love. Some guy or gal that likes to tinker and makes stuff for personal satisfaction. For someone to take it over they would need to have the same interest or there would need to be a level of profit to get someone interested in taking the time out of their day.

I could be wrong, just trying to set my expectations.

Very sorry to see this news. I love mine and it’s such a unique and well crafted piece of equipment.

Holy frog farts! I bought the Voyageurs Streamside a few hours ago for $196 and now they have it listed for $257.50! They must be having surge pricing on the last few left?! This one looks pretty decent though. Looks like I could get some vegetables cooked on there and perhaps fish? This purchase, albeit impulsive, may have been okay. Maybe I done good?

Purcell Trench has been bought by Josh Drake. Josh has been the one doing the welding on these products since 2015 and is dedicated to producing the same quality product. Ti might be going away at some point. But Purcell has been saying that for a decade.

I ordered several pieces last night and he was extremely communicative.

Prices are exactly the same as when I looked into them in 2022. The poster above may have been looking at a reseller. I just bought two grills and a set of custom Stix that came to much less than that, even with shipping.
