Hi all-- We're headed into Quetico in about a week and are wondering if anyone knows what the current water levels are like in the park, especially in the shallower creeks/marshy areas.
We've gone in mid/late August previously and know it's usually a bit drier (which has made for some interesting travel in said marshy areas), but know the area has gotten quite a decent amount of rain this summer.
Roughly the area we're headed to more in the southeastern-ish part of the park -- Man Chain, Maligne, Saganagons, and Kawnipi. Coming south from Kawnipi we're considering going through some of the smaller lakes west of Agnes -- currently eyeing the unnamed chain of lakes from Trant to Silence. Still undecided on that part though.
Any insights are appreciated. Here's to hoping that the bugs have died down a bit (hah). Thanks!
